White Floral and Feather Wedding at Orange County’s Best Courtyard Wedding Venue, Serra Plaza

Stace and Derrick meet in the Serra Plaza Courtyard with draped archways as the backdrop to their first look. A tap on the shoulder turned Derrick around to see his beautiful bride standing before him dressed in a lace wedding dress. Smiles immediately filled both their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged.  After a few photos and enjoying the intimate moment alone, the couple joined their wedding party at Mission San Juan Capistrano where group photos were taken before lining up back at Serra Plaza for the wedding ceremony.

Guests signed Derrick and Stace’s guest book and found a seat inside the Courtyard. Sparkling chandeliers hung above a white floral and feather lined aisle. Matching flowers and feathers decorated the Spanish fountain backdrop. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, the bride and groom recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Inside the Lounge, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Chicken Jalapeno Empanadas were tray passed while the bar served up Mojito and Blue Hawaiian signature drinks. As a special treat, the bride and groom added our Smoked Brisket Slider Station into the cocktail hour menu mix. Guests mixed, mingled, and posed for caricatures and selfies with Stace and Derrick before heading back out to the Courtyard for the reception.

Candles and chandeliers added a warm glow to the Courtyard where tables sat topped with white feather and floral centerpieces. Stace and Derrick made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Espresso Crusted Filet Mignon, Shrimp Enchiladas, Grilled Corn Esquites, and Summer Spinach and Berry Salad was served. The menu was selected by Stace and Derrick with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their cake and invited guests to indulge in a slice. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with Derrick and Stace.
