Serra Plaza End of Summer Wedding
On the afternoon of their wedding, Lisa and Devin stepped out in the Serra Plaza Courtyard for their first look. A tap on the shoulder turned Devin around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a strapless white wedding dress and slicked back hairstyle fastened with a sparkling clip. Smiles filled their faces as compliments and private vows were shared, then they lined up for the ceremony.
Guests signed Devin and Lisa’s guest book and found their seats in the Courtyard. Peach, light pink, white, and yellow flowers decorated the Spanish fountain as the ceremony backdrop and string lights hung overhead. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Lisa and Devin recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed around the Lounge for cocktail hour while Old Fashioned and Greyhound signature drinks were served. As a special treat, guests were able to indulge in our Bao Bar with Braised Pork Belly Bao. Everyone mixed and mingled until the sun set, then headed back outside to the Courtyard for the reception.
Tables were topped with our Cambria linens, ivory napkins, pastel pink and yellow floral centerpieces, and flickering candles. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Chicken Sonoma, Filet Mignon Carvery, Mashed Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, Lisa and Devin cut into their white wedding cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice of cake or our Kouign Amann Dessert Station for dessert. The evening ended out on the dance floor with a bouquet toss and one big group photo to commemorate the special day.
