Romantic Black and White Luxury Real Wedding in Southern California

Romantic Black and White Luxury Real Wedding in Southern California

Miranda started her wedding day getting ready inside the Serra Plaza Bridal Suit and sharing a first look with her bridesmaids, then she stepped out into the Courtyard for her first look with Ryan. A tap on the shoulder turned Ryan around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a lace wedding dress. Happy tears filled their eyes, smiles filled their faces, and sweet compliments were exchanged. After the intimate moment, the couple was joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and together they smiled for the camera before lining up for the ceremony.

Guests entered through draped loggias and into the courtyard gardenscape where upon a ring of a bell, champagne was hand delivered. White floral arrangements lined the aisle, and matching flowers decorated the Spanish fountain ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Miranda. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Inside the Spanish Revival style lounge, modern black and white specialty rentals were arranged in front of the fireplace and white floral bud vases topped cocktail tables. Mini Al Pastor Tacos, Shrimp Ceviche, and Beef Picadillo Empanadas were tray passed and the bar served up Classic Margarita and Old Fashioned signature drinks. Guests mixed and mingled, posing for selfies and photos with the newlyweds, then headed back out to the Courtyard for the romantic, candlelit reception.

White draped tables were topped with black napkins and bows, printed menus, taper and pillar candles, and white floral centerpieces, and sparkling chandeliers reflected off a white dance floor that was positioned in the middle of the reception space. After checking the modern black and white seating chart, guests took their seats. Miranda and Ryan made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then sat at their sweetheart table for the evening festivities. One by one, guests stood to share their toasts. While listening to heartfelt and funny stories about the bride and groom, everyone enjoyed Classic Filet Mignon and Santorini Chicken with Haricot Verts, Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, and Caesar Salad. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into our Confetti Cake and invited their guests to indulge in our All American Dessert Station with a collection of S’more Macarons, Gourmet Rice Krispy Treats, Chocolate Ganache Brownies, Individual Strawberry Shortcakes, and Fresh Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor waving around glow sticks and showing off their best moves.
