Rainy Spring Serra Plaza Wedding

Rainy Spring Serra Plaza Wedding

Nicolette and her bridesmaids popped champagne inside Serra Plaza’s Bridal Suite and got ready for the big day while Ben and his groomsmen suited up off-site. Once the bride and groom were ready, the couple met upstairs at Serra Plaza overlooking the Courtyard for their first look. As soon as Ben and Nicolette saw each other, smiles immediately filled their faces. Sweet compliments were shared, and photos were taken, then the bride and groom lined up with their wedding party for the ceremony.

Guests signed Ben and Nicolette’s guest book, entered the Courtyard through draped archways, then took a seat. White and light pink flowers decorated the Spanish fountain and were arranged at the back of the aisle. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Nicolette. In front of all their closest friends and family, the bride and groom recited their vows, lit a unity candle, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Inside the Lounge and on the Hidden Terrace, Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Caprese Skewers were tray passed. As a special surprise, the bride and groom also treated their guests to our Street Taco Station with Barbacoa Shredded Beef Tacos. To wash it all down, the bar served up beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Classic Margarita and Dirty Martini. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head back into the Courtyard for the reception.

Tables were topped with white and pink floral centerpieces and chandeliers hung above. Once everyone was seated, the newlyweds made their grand entrance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Roasted Golden Beet Salad was served as toasts started, followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Chicken Santorini with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Selena. After dinner Ben and Nicolette took the stage and shared their first dance, then cut into our 2-tiered Carrot Cake. To end the night on a sweet note, the bride and groom invited all their guests to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening concluded with lots of dancing out on the dance floor and many well wishes shared with the newlyweds.
