Outdoor Blush and White Wedding in the Serra Plaza Courtyard
Jonah and Margaret met inside Mission San Juan Capistrano for their first look. A tap on the shoulder turned Jonah around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiles filled their faces and happy tears were shed while sweet compliments were exchanged. After the intimate moment, the couple posed for photos around The Mission together, then headed back to Serra Plaza for the Courtyard wedding ceremony.
Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and took a seat in the Courtyard. White and blush-toned flowers mixed with eucalyptus leaves lined the aisle and decorated the Spanish fountain ahead. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Margaret. Together in front of all their closest friends and family, Margaret and Jonah read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Inside the Lounge, Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites, Fig, Goat Cheese and Mascarpone Tarts, and Grilled Baby Lamb Chops were tray passed while the bar served up Tom Collins and Old Fashioned signature cocktails. Guests mixed, mingled, and posed for selfies with the newlyweds, then headed back out to the Courtyard for the reception.
Reception tables were placed under the shade of Courtyard trees and topped with fresh floral centerpieces. A white dance floor marked the center of the reception space and sparkling chandeliers hung above. Once everyone was seated, Jonah and Margaret made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Chicken Sonoma with Roasted Broccolini and Gourmet Mashed Potatoes was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Patti. After dinner and dessert, everyone hit the dance floor. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best dance moves and sharing their well wishes with the bride and groom.
