Neutral Glam Wedding at Serra Plaza

Cathy and her bridal party got ready inside the Serra Plaza Bridal Suite, then she headed outside for her first look with Jay. Under the archways, Cathy tapped Jay’s shoulder signaling him to turn around. Happy tears were shed when their eyes met for the first time that day. Compliments were shared and the couple read handwritten vows to each other. After the private moment, the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen on the terrace for group photos. Everyone smiled for the camera as the photographer captured the sweet moments on film, then the wedding party lined up for the ceremony.

Clouds of fluffy floral arrangements lined the wedding ceremony aisle in the Courtyard and matching flowers framed in the Spanish fountain backdrop. Sparkling chandeliers hung above wooden chairs arranged in rows. Once each guest had found a seat, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Jay and Cathy recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Pops of light pink mixed with tan and ivory inside the Lounge for cocktail hour. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Crab Cakes were tray passed while the bar served up Lychee Margarita and Marshmallow Old Fashioned signature drinks complete with custom-made stir sticks that featured the bride and groom’s dogs. Everyone mingled until it was time to check the seating chart and head back out into the Courtyard for the reception.

Light wood tables were topped with fresh florals in ivory, yellow and blush. At each place setting sat an ivory linen napkin, stone charger plate, custom menu, gold flatware, and stone name card. The bride and groom made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Pear and Walnut Salad was served and toasts were shared followed by Niman Ranch Braised Short Ribs and Miso Glazed Alaska Halibut with Gourmet Mashed Potatoes, Fried Shallots, Broccoli De Ciccio, Sweet Potato Puree, and Sauteed Spinach. After dinner, Cathy and Jay cut into our White Wedding Cake with Raspberry Creme Filling and invited guests to indulge in our French Dessert Collection. The evening ended with everyone showing off their best dance moves and posing for selfies with the newlyweds before sending them off.
