Lucky Rainy Day Wedding at Serra Plaza

Lucky Rainy Day Wedding at Serra Plaza

Quynh and her bridesmaids changed into their dresses inside Serra Plaza’s Bridal Suite and helped Quynh with her finishing touches before her first look with Phong. With her veil secured and shoes fastened, she tapped Phong on the shoulder signaling him to turn around. Smiles immediately filled both their faces when they saw each other for the first time that day and personalized vows were exchanged. Afterwards, the couple posed for a few photos together and with their wedding party before lining up for ceremony.

Guests entered the Courtyard and found a seat facing our Spanish fountain that was decorated in florals to match the aisle arrangements. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Quynh. Joined together at the head of the aisle, Quynh and Phong recited vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss as their family and friends cheered from the crowd.

Inside the Lounge, the bar was serving up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Paloma and Pineapple Margarita, while Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed. Guests posed for photos at the photo booth and left voice messages at the audio guest book while the bride and groom snuck away for a moment alone before reception. After plenty of mixing and mingling, everyone headed back out to the Courtyard for dinner.

Tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces, candles, printed menus, and travertine table numbers. Once everyone was seated, Phong and Quynh made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Ensalada Las Mesas was served first followed by Lemon and Thyme Chicken and Cabernet Braised Short Ribs with Gochujang Brussels Sprouts and Fingerling Potatoes. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends stood to share toasts. Glasses clinked in the air when the last speech ended, then the bride and groom cut into their wedding cake and invited guests to indulge in dessert. The evening ended with one big group photo out on the dance floor followed by lots of dancing into the night.
