Fresh Fruit and Vibrant Orange Floral Wedding at Serra Plaza

Alya met Isaac inside Mission San Juan Capistrano for their first look. On the photographer’s cue, Isaac turned around to see his beautiful bride standing before him dressed in an off-the-shoulder wedding dress. Smiles immediately filled their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged. The couple posed together and with their bridesmaids and groomsmen for photos, then headed back to Serra Plaza where they all lined up for the ceremony.
Guests dropped off their gifts at the entryway arch and took their seats inside the Courtyard. Fresh grapefruits and lemons were gathered around vibrant yellow, magenta, and orange floral arrangements lining the aisle and decorating the Spanish fountain. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Alya. In front of all their closest friends and family, Alya and Isaac shared personal vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons, Crab Cakes, and Thai Vegetable Spring Rolls were tray passed around the Lounge and Hidden Terrace while the bar served up the newlywed’s signature drinks, a Bourbon Negroni and Mango Margarita. Cocktail tables were topped with fresh fruit centerpieces and a terracotta and mustard-colored lounge offered additional seating. Everyone mixed and mingled until it was time to head back into the Courtyard for the reception.
Tables were topped with pops of blue and orange with fresh fruit and florals being the star of the show. Alya ad Isaac made their grand entrance with their guests, and everyone took their seats. Grilled Panzanella Salad was served while family and friends shared toasts, followed by Seared Ora King Salmon with Smashed Baby Potatoes, Braised Artichokes and Leeks, and Tomato and Chive Butter and Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs with Wasabi Mashed Potatoes and Heirloom Carrots. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After, the bride and groom shared their first dance and cut into their cake. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves.
