Courtyard Serra Plaza Wedding
A tap on the shoulder turned David around to see his beautiful bride, Kaitlin, standing before him in the upstairs Serra Plaza breezeway. Smiles filled their faces as soon as their eyes met and sweet compliments were exchanged as their photographer snapped away. After the intimate moment, the couple joined their bridesmaids and groomsmen in the Courtyard for group photos, then they all lined up for the ceremony.
Greenery and white flowers lined the aisle and decorated the Spanish fountain backdrop. Guests signed the bride and groom’s guest book and found a seat in the Courtyard ready for the ceremony to begin. The music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and family, Kaitlin and David read handwritten vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes made their rounds in the Lounge while the bar served up Mojito and Dirty Roy Rogers signature drinks. The newlyweds snuck away for photos together as husband and wife while guests mixed and mingled. Upon their return, it was time for the reception.
Back in the Courtyard, tables were topped with fresh floral centerpieces and pops of black. David and Kaitlin made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. Toasts were shared and Zucchini Lime Chicken, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Almond Rice Pilaf, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Pear and Walnut Salad was served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. After dinner the couple cut into our Vintage design wedding cake and invited their guests to indulge in our Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean and Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with the couple.
