A Poetic Wedding at Serra Plaza
Gavin and Megan shared their first look, posed for photos with their bridal party, then lined up for their ceremony inside the Serra Plaza Courtyard. Guests signed Megan and Gavins guest book and found their seats facing the Spanish fountain decorated in red flowers. Once everyone was in attendance, music filled the air, and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, the bride and groom recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Caprese Skewers were tray passed while guests plated up Saffron Tomato and Roasted Peach Bruschetta, Caramelized Maui Onion and Roasted Garlic Bruschetta, Grape Tomato and Cremini Mushroom Bruschetta, and Sauteed Wild Mushroom Bruschetta at our Tuscan Bruschetta Bar. Everyone mixed and mingled while sipping on Old Fashioned and French 75 signature cocktails, and once the sun began to set, guests headed back into the Courtyard for reception.
Chandeliers sparkled over tables topped with red floral centerpieces. Printed dinner menus were placed atop navy napkins and ornate golden framed table numbers helped guide guests to their assigned spots. Gavin and Megan made their grand entrance and took a seat at their head table for dinner and toasts. Ensalada Las Mesas was served first followed by Niman Ranch Braised Short Ribs with Parmesan Polenta, Chilean Sea Bass with Creamy Polenta, and Wild Mushroom and Black Truffle Pasta. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, everyone was invited to indulge in our Gourmet Dessert Station with a collection of Mini Lemon Meringue Tarts, Berry Champagne Macarons, Raspberry Chocolate Decadence, Mini Carrot Cupcakes, and Caramel Cream with Lemon Curd and Praline Crisp Dessert Shots. The evening ended with lots of dancing inside the Lounge and a bubbly send-off outside the venue doors.
